As we all know student life can be hard and draining but don't fear young revolutionaries, i have a few tips to help you not explode at every stressful moment.
As being in second year of university myself, i have gone through some stressful moments, enough to cover one for every student. Moving away from home, meeting new people and starting all over again can be hard but all you have to remember is that life is always going to get better the worse it gets. Well that's how i look at life anyway; i very much believe that the worse life gets the bigger the happiness you will experience, like a roller coaster . Not to make this about me but i try to not have a very exhilarating roller coaster if you know what i mean, i never much like the highs and lows of my roller coaster to be very......well not roller 'coastery'.
While we stress over little things in life, like noticing a scratch on your car, getting essays done by the deadline, caring about what people think of us; we have very much forgotten that we are human. we are animals that can do anything, we evolved over billions of years to be where we are but all we can seem to do is worry about if we are going to wake up to our alarms in the morning. Put it this way, lets say we are on a plane, eating a chicken sandwich in one hand and a bottle of cider in the other....think about it... flightless land mammal eating a bird in midair while enjoying drinks that were once 35,000 ft below us, besides the fact that we were just in a cloud. so when stressing just think about this very weird post, laugh, smile and stop the worrying. i started this paragraph by saying that i have tips to stop students from stressing, well i lied, i don't have any; because still to this day i stress about every little thing that crosses my path. However, if you do come up with any tips, hit me up, help out a fellow student so we can spread the non stress vibes across the nation.
